Head Start and Early Head Start

Mid-Cumberland Community Action Agency provides comprehensive child and family development services in Middle Tennessee. Its Head Start program has served the region since 1970, offering children opportunities to have fun and learn in a safe, positive environment.

Program staff have degrees, certifications, or substantial experience related to child development and participate in ongoing professional training.

Learning and Development

The program provides research-based, age-appropriate curricula and learning activities for children from six weeks through five years old. Services emphasize developmentally appropriate play and individualized learning opportunities.
